Quite why the Sling TV app was made available via the tvOS App Store only to be removed within a matter of minutes is something we haven’t managed to get to the bottom of yet, but given the fact it appeared at all and the report coming out of that one user at least that we know has Sling TV app installed, we can’t imagine the app staying in the shadows for too much longer.
As one person found out, the Sling TV app for Apple TV 4 was briefly available to download from the tvOS App Store today, with those quick enough to spot it able to download the app and use it without issue. Unfortunately the Sling TV app is no longer available from the App Store as it was pulled soon after, but we can only imagine that won’t be the case for long.
